Meetings are the First Tuesday of each month at Tebala Shrine Center 7:30pm

The Tebala Shrine Klowns were formed in 1954, but were not recognized until 1956. At that time they were known as the Klownarabians. Shriner clowns belong to the International Shrine Clown Association-(ISCA). ISCA membership provides moral and technical guidelines in the form of bylaws and regulations. Based on ideals of the Masonic Blue Lodge roots, symbolic Masonry, the traditions imbue all concerns, actions and decisions of ISCA clowns with behavioral and moral considerations that no Shriner can fault. The SNEAKER FUND is the official philanthropy of the ISCA, providing research funds for our three Burn Institutes. The Tebala Klowns also raise funds for the Transportation Fund, which pays for the children’s transportation to and from the Chicago hospital. Located near Chicago’s Oak Park neighborhood, Shriners Hospital for Children-Chicago is one of the busiest hospitals in our health system. Here, we treat children with a host of orthopedic and neuromuscleskeletal conditions, spinal cord injuries, as well as children born with a cleft palate. Our inpatient and outpatient units are bright and cheerful, and designed to put children at ease. From our world class surgeons to our expert team of nurses, therapists, and clinicians, everyone is focused on the needs of the children and family. As clowns in the Tebala Shrine Klown unit we take the Masonic Blue Lodge motto of Making Good Men Better and add in family fun. We are honored to participate in many events throughout the year from parades in many communities to private events, all for the benefit of the Shriners Hospital for Children. If you or anyone you may know is interested in becoming a Tebala Shrine Klown or in joining one of our many other opportunities to have fun while helping children, call the Tebala Shrine Center today. As it is in Freemasonry, so it is here: To Be one. Ask one. Our membership team as well as our clubs and units look forward to fellowship with all.
